Municipal Warrants in Camden County
Camden County municipal divisions hear city ordinance and traffic cases. Skip a court date or ignore an order, and a bench warrant or arrest warrant may follow. Local Missouri sources say warrant and failure to appear; capias is only a possible cross-reference, not the county's main label.
Five Camden Municipal Routes
Each city in Camden County runs its court records differently. The right clerk depends on the city and, in Lake Ozark, on the county side of the case.
| City | Court route | Phone |
|---|---|---|
| Osage Beach | Municipal Court | 573-302-2000 ext. 1040 |
| Camdenton | Camden Circuit Clerk | 573-346-4440 option 2 |
| Sunrise Beach | Camden Circuit Court | 573-346-4440 ext. 3130 |
| Four Seasons | Camden Circuit Clerk | 573-346-4440 ext. 3130 |
| Lake Ozark | City municipal clerk | 573-365-5903 |
Four Seasons Contract Policing
Four Seasons contracts with the Camden County Sheriff for policing instead of keeping its own village police department, per the official village plan. The village office page lists administrative contacts, not a warrant counter.

Pull the Camden County court file through Case.net and the Circuit Clerk first, then involve the sheriff only for law-enforcement routing that needs it.
How to Check a Municipal Warrant
Search the exact venue for a Camden County warrant check. A city case can sit off the sheriff's Most Wanted page and still demand court action.
- Read the city and division on the citation.
- Search Case.net or the official Lake Ozark portal.
- Call the city or circuit clerk to confirm FTA status.
- Ask whether payment, reset, bond, waiver, or appearance applies.
- Save written proof and recheck the docket.
Camdenton's Court Transfer
Camdenton reports it no longer has municipal court. It routes traffic questions to the Circuit Clerk. Sunrise Beach likewise says its municipal court is conducted at Camden County Circuit Court. Linn Creek holds court at Court Circle. These are routing facts only, not proof that the cities lack police records.
What a Municipal Warrant Shows
Even with no public roster, a Camden County city or circuit court file can still identify an active municipal warrant record.
| Citation or case | The municipal file number, such as CITY-00000, shown only as an example. |
|---|---|
| Violation | The traffic or ordinance charge. |
| Court | The municipal division or assigned circuit court. |
| FTA event | The missed setting or unmet order. |
| Status | Issue, service, recall, reset, or later action. |
Municipal Clerk and Sheriff Roles
The clerk keeps the case file and records court action. Police or Camden County sheriff personnel serve warrants. A city administrative office may hold other public records, but do not assume it can recall process or accept bond.
| Office | Question |
|---|---|
| Municipal or circuit clerk | Is a warrant entered, and what does the judge require? |
| City police | Is an open police report available? |
| County sheriff | What service or custody route applies? |
Public Camden Municipal Records
Missouri Sunshine Law access still follows closure and redaction rules, and the official response statute sets request timing.

Ask for a named document and period, not a newly created list.
Access limit: Sealed, juvenile, investigative, and safety-sensitive material may remain closed or redacted.
Resolve a Camden Municipal Warrant
Ask the Camden County court what the case needs: payment, a plea or waiver, a reset, a judge appearance, bond, or a motion. Portal payment alone does not guarantee recall. Get written confirmation, then ask when Case.net and any law-enforcement entry should change.
Call before appearing: Camden County publishes no universal surrender window, municipal bond schedule, or same-day judge guarantee.
Confirm City Warrant Clearance
Hold on to the court receipt, recall or release order, bond document, and next date. A deleted website entry or a zero balance is not enough on its own. The issuing court must confirm the warrant action. If DOR compliance also applies, handle that separate license step after the court provides the required receipt or release.
